Matching the Right Technnology to the Right Bike

At Dynamic Bicycles, we pride ourselves in bringing new technologies to market. But not just any technology; only those that help to make bicycles easier to operate and less work to maintain. First and foremost to this is making sure that we match technologies with the best possible bike models. For instance, although all of our bikes use the Shimano internal hubs, some of our bike models use chains, and some use the shaft drive system. This is because not one technology is best for every application. But rest assured, we've done all the testing and tinkering for you, so you know that every bicycle we sell was designed and equipped to use the best technology for which it is designed. In turn, every bicycle we sell is designed to offer great performance while being easier to operate and easier to maintain than any other bicycle in it's class.

History of Innovation

• In 2005, Dynamic was the first bike manufacturer to offer shaft drive bicycles direct to consumers over the internet. It quickly became the most recognized brand of shaft drive bicycles in the world.
• In 2006, Dynamic was the first chainless bicycle company to offer 8-speed shaft drive bicycles. These bicycles offered more gearing versatility and higher performance than the 7-speed models.
• By 2007, Dynamic offered more shaft drive bicycle models than all other companies in the world combined. From our recreational hybrid and comfort cruising models to our performance commuting models to our innovative folding bike, we have put more people on shaft drive bicycles than any other company in history.
• In 2009, Dynamic is the first company to build a production internally geared road bike using a true road style integrated shift-brake lever. The Synergy is the newest addition to our product line and combines the convenience, smooth shifting and low maintenance of internal gearing with the performance and versatility of a true road bike.
• In 2009, Dynamic will also be the first company to introduce an internally geared dual disc road bike designed specifically for commuters and touring riders. This new dual disc road bike will combine the durability and all-weather versatility commuters need, with the performance and low maintenance of today's most advanced internal gear hubs.

Advanced Technologies

Dynamic's bicycles use a unique combination of gearing and transmission components to create its bikes, including:

• Internal Gear Hubs - Compress all the gearing into a compact hub inside the rear axle, safely sealing away all the gearing. Virtually eliminates maintenance while simplifying shifting.
• Integrated Road Shift-Brake Levers - Developed specifically for the Shimano internal hubs for use on performance road bikes.
• Shaft Drive System - Used on our recreational bikes to offer a clean, safe, low maintenance transmission system. Replaces the chain so there are no external moving parts.
